About the job

As a Back-End Developer at Watermelon, you are responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of Watermelon. You work closely with the Front-End team to implement functionality and integrate it with the user interface. You take pride in the quality of your code and are open to feedback from the team.

What you going to do?

• Integrating APIs and working with various microservices, constantly striving for improvements.

• Operating in a fast-paced Continuous Integration & Deployment environment.

• Working in GitHub and writing automated tests to ensure high code quality.

• Assisting colleagues and yourself through pull requests, code reviewing, and pair programming.

• Monitoring platform performance and analyzing ways to enhance it.

• Contemplating technical choices, such as architecture, tools, and processes.

Who we are looking for:

• You must already have the legal right to work in the EU, as we cannot support relocation from outside the EU or visa sponsorship.

• Experience with Go, Python, and some PHP

• You are proficient in English

• Front-End experience is a plus.

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.

• You have worked in a B2B SaaS environment before

• You are openminded and remain hungry to learn more about your job

• You hold a Bachelor's degree, such as in Computer Science.

• You are enthusiastic to work in an international environment.
